Poland in the European Union is a unique album showcasing Poland’s achievements in various areas of life, initiated or enabled by Poland’s accession to the European Union and the related ability to benefit from European Funds. Four chapters showcase important and compelling examples of Poland’s enhancement, modernization, enrichment, and attractiveness. These include both individual and systemic initiatives, particularly crucial to the country’s socio-economic development, as well as “ordinary” but equally commendable and valuable achievements. Beautiful illustrations are accompanied by a text by Professor Witold Orłowski, an economist and advisor to the chief negotiator for Poland’s membership in the European Union. The entire book is complemented by a design by Michał Piekarski.
